![]() you might want to consider some alternative / freemium tools then. If you just need to deliver a simple app like acrobat, RDS will be more cost effective.Īdobe likely isn't flexible on licensing for hosted apps (unless you are education). Hyperv VM usually will require more server resources than RDS (as multiple instances of full windows OS is spawned). What about hyper v? Would that be something I should try looking into? So if I have 5 users that need to remote in and use adobe pro then that means I would need a license for each of them? My goal was to see if we can have one license of it and have multiple users use it if that makes sense. ![]() Here's a thread about this on the Adobe forum: ![]() The RDS services will take care of running multiple instances. You should only need one installation, though. So they will be remoting into the Server itself? You've already gotten your RDS licensing configured? You should double check with Adobe, but I'm pretty sure you'll need 5 licenses of Pro to make this work (assuming you want to be legit with your licensing). I have never setup a remote desktop server so my question is if we have put adobe pro on there, can we have 5 users remote into that server and use the software at the same time? I was assigned to look into setting up a remote desktop server using windows server 2012 so that users can remote in and use adobe pro.
